William C. “Bill” Ferguson, age 81 of Troy, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Troy Care Center. He was born September 26, 1935 in Ridgeway, Ohio to the late Gail and Grace (Wilson) Ferguson.

Bill is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Jodi and Craig Block of Troy, and Candice and Chris Hillman of Troy; son and daughter-in-law: William C. Ferguson, II and Stacey Ferguson of Beavercreek; seven grandchildren: Jamie (Casey) Cooper, Laura Kiser, Gabe (Denise) Wise, Logan (Megan) Wise, Trevor Dunn, Liam Ferguson, and Gabriella Ferguson; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Lloyd and Nora Ferguson of Rushsylvania, and John and Lonnie Ferguson of Rushsylvania; sister and brother-in-law: Janet and Fred Allen of Bellefontaine.

Bill was married to Carol Ann Yarbrough, and she preceded him in death on September 25, 2009. He was also preceded in death by grandson Larry Kiser, Jr., sister Judy Foster, and daughter-in-law Christie Dunn.

He was a former member of the Troy Moose Lodge and Troy Elks #833.  Bill was a retired Auto Salesman for Troy Ford and Frank Z.

A funeral service will be held 10:30AM Monday, February 13, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Lloyd Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be from 3PM-6PM on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley: 46 N. Detroit St. Suite B, Xenia, OH 45385. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
