It's extraordinary the impact one person can have on our lives. In a world full of people it seems so empty without you here. To love someone so much means the pain is only that much worse once they're gone. It feels like someone has turned out the only light in the room and we've all been left to spend our days in the dark. I know it will get better and the pain we feel will fade, but it's never truly gone. The sadness and heartbreak can only mean one thing...you were deeply loved. To one of the most amazing, compassionate, and exceptional men I have ever known, you will truly be missed. You are in a place far better than any if us can imagine and one day I only hope to be there with you. The selfish part of me wishes we could have had you here for much longer, but to know you're pain free and happy puts a smile on my face. Papaw, I love you and I will never stop missing you. Fly with the angels because God knew what he was doing when he picked you!

My heart is broken . Dad was a wonderful, loving, and most caring man I have ever known, he would always put others first , he was my biggest fan he went to all of my events , I was not a good softball player he was at every game. He went to all of my choir concerts in high school. He walked me down the aisle on my wedding day. Dad I love you and will always miss, You will stay in my heart forever.

My heart is broken for my sweet dad. I miss him more everyday. Dad was a gently man with a gentle spirit. Had a temper at times, as we all well know. Dad has been searching for peace for awhile. He has found his comfort and his mother, whom he loved dearly. My dad is whole again, no pain or turmoil, just happy and free in the arms of an angel.
