I have so many memories of Peter Klosterman, as the sweet little brother of my friend, Roseann. Living across the street, our two families were close and friends for many, many years. I know he grew to be a civic leader and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Prayers to the family.

I have fond memories of Pete and his ever present smiles. Being 10 years older than Pete he was one of the little kids in the Klosterman home on Kenilworth Avenue in Dayton. I ran around with his older brothers Jerry and Joe.
When we had a big reunion for 25 class years at Corpus Christi Grade School Pete and I were on the committee. I had a good time interacting with him during committee meetings. Later, I dealt with him as Treasurer of the Dayton Philharmonic.
Our family extends our deepest sympathy to all of the Klosterman family and we pray for your family and Pete

Karen and Family, We are very sorry for your loss. Pete was such a good friend to us...swim team, work, Children's Services Board. I always enjoyed his humor and sound thinking. He was a most valuable resource to me when I was grant-writing for the organizations that support young children in Miami County. Thank you for sharing him with our communities. We will hold each of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Margo,
We are so very sorry to learn of this great loss. We pray you and your entire family are lifted up by the love of one another and friends surrounding you. Your father left a wonderful legacy in the way he lived and what he did for others, and most definitely in the family he raised with your mother. I'm so sorry he had to go now, but grateful that you had this man in your life. May God bless his soul and all of your family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Pete. Does not seem that long ago when we were college kids sharing a dorm room at Marian -- I always enjoyed his sense of humor. I really enjoyed the few recent exchanges we had via Facebook -- it was great to catch up with him briefly, after all these years.
