Virginia Marie May

Virginia Marie May, age 79 of Troy, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City. She was born August 18, 1942 in Troy to the late Edward Eugene and Thelma Mae (Ross) Archie.

Virginia is survived by her husband Lennon C. May; son Randy Stone of Dayton; daughters Libby Archie of Sidney and Kelly Archie of Dayton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;sisters Katie Baker and Shannon Moton, both of Troy, and Lillian Hudgins (Fred) of Piqua; and brothers Alvin Moton and William Moton, both of Troy, and Freddie Archie (Virginia) of Piqua; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Betty Jean White, Mr. and Mrs. Beverly (Roma) Smith, Mary Moton-Harris, and Sharon Moton; and brothers George, David, and Jimmy Archie, and Bobby Moton.

Virginia was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Troy.

A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, Troy with Pastor Charles Carnes officiating. Visitation 1:30PM-2:00PM at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
