Renee Audrey Clarke

Renee Audrey Clarke, age 66 of Piqua, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  She was born on November 10, 1956, in Troy, Ohio, to Robert Bolden and Mary Sims.

Renee was a member of Grace Family Worship Center in Piqua with Pastors H. Eugene and Trina Collier.  She was retired as an assembly worker for Harmony in Piqua.  Renee had a servant’s heart and would do anything for those in need. She was known for delivering meals for her church and she adored her church family.  Renee loved her family and friends and cherished each moment she spent with them.  She could be found around town visiting and praying for the sick, sharing laughs, and bringing Jesus joy to every room.  Her presence was big!

Renee was proceeded in death by biological parents Robert Bolden and Mary Sims, father Paul Smith, Sr., brothers Craig Smith, Gary Smith, Terry Smith, Tim Smith, Paul Smith, Jr., and uncle Lex Andrews.

Those left to cherish Renee’s memory include her only beloved son, Oronde Clarke (Piqua); dear friend Kelly Smith (Troy); mother Sylvia Smith (Troy); grandchildren: Jayla, Izayah, Julian, Zinndric, Zadrinn, Zahlyn, Kaylynn, Thomas, and Gemma; her brothers: Robert “Bobby” Sims (Windeline) of Piqua, Anthony Smith of Troy, Virgil Smothers (Tori) of Troy, and Darrel Wells of Urbana; sisters: Tarita Carter of Dayton of Dayton, Lisa Wells of Urbana, and Hope Brandenburg of Palm Beach, Florida; uncles Stephen Andrews of Troy and Benny Andrews (Rhonda) of Urbana; aunt Joyce Andrews of Urbana; aunt Lavaga Rochester (Mike) of Michigan; ex-husband Thomas Clarke of Piqua; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Family Worship Center, 9101 N. County Road 25A in Piqua.  Family and friends are welcome for visitation at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
