Micheal Kevin Slack Sr.

Micheal Kevin Slack, Sr., age 61 of Troy, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 in the Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born January 16, 1961 in Troy to Charles and Rosalyn (Morse) Slack.

Along with his mother, Micheal was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Charlette (Gillis) Slack on December 18, 2021.

Those left to cherish Micheal’s memory include his father Charles Slack (Becky) of Troy; children Dustin Slack of Troy, Ashley Edgerly of Troy, Micheal Kevin Slack, Jr., and Misty; brother Bob Slack (Suzzane) of Troy; as well as grandchildren Joey Brower, Zoe “Alex” Taylor, Edith Brower, and Jensen Slack.

Micheal was a US Navy veteran. He was a baseball card collector and enjoyed watching all types of sports. He was a computer enthusiast and loved to cook. He was a cook for many years at Friendly’s and also worked for JAYNA Corp. in Troy for many years.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home.
