Mark Bell

Mark Bell, age 66, of Casstown, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 1:36 PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was born on May 18, 1955 in Piqua, OH to the late Robert C. and Patricia Markley Bell.

Those left to cherish Mark’s memory include his loving wife of 47 years, Debi Bell; two daughters, Julie (Scott) Paulus and Krista (Dave) Stidham; four grandchildren, Kodi (Hannah) Paulus, Kamron Paulus, Kayla Stidham, and Kyra Gilbert; two great granddaughters, Hadley Paulus and Kenli Paulus; and brother, Ron (Pam) Bell.

He loved spending time with all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He also loved his sheep and all of his sheep friends. He loved talking to people and made friends with everybody. He enjoyed going to Miami East Basketball games, taking golf cart rides with his beloved fur babies, Jewels and Penny, and Sunday pizza with his family. He enjoyed running his family farm and being self-employed as a life and health insurance agent for 29 years. Prior to that, he worked several years at Dinner Bell Foods in Troy. He was our rock; we were so blessed to have had him in our lives and he will be missed immensely.  

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Tina Fox officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Casstown Cemetery in Casstown, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami East varsity basketball team; Miami East Athletic Department Attn: Scott Donaldson, 3825 St. Rt. 587, Casstown, OH 45312.
