Marilyn Yvonne Clemons

Marilyn Yvonne Clemons, age 78 of Piqua, OH, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Kettering Health Care, Troy. She was born on December 7, 1943 in Troy to the late Aaron Quinsinberry and Marmetta Moton and raised by the late Alfred Lester Mines and Mary Luella (Underwood) Mines.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her loving husband Morris Clemons; and siblings, Milton Gordon Mines, Sharon Moton, and Alfreda Rose Ellen Vaughn.

Those left to cherish Marilyn’s memory include her step-children, Craig Clemons, Leroy Clemons, and Carol Michaels; siblings, Maxwell “Allan” (Casandra) May of Troy, Delores (Ted) Brock of Dallas, GA, Erich (Penny) May of Huber Heights, OH, Isaac Mines of Lima, OH and Isiah Mines of Lima, OH; and granddaughter, Brenda Russell.

Marilyn Yvonne lastly leaves to mourn her passing a host of nephews and nieces; many great-nephews and nieces, and many more great-great nephews and nieces, along with many more great-great-great nephews  and nieces; cousins, family relatives, and an abundance of lifelong cherished and devoted friends.

Marilyn loved her puppy, Caz, and watching tv, especially football. She enjoyed being around people and was very thoughtful, always lending a helping hand to those who needed it.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Eric Collier and Pastor Ryan Collier officiating. A visitation will be held prior from 1 PM- 3 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
