Harold Eugene Bashore

Harold Eugene Bashore, age 72 of Celina and formerly of Troy, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born March 11, 1949 in Troy to the late Maurice Dale Bashore, Sr. and Thelma (Mangas) Bashore.

He was preceded in death by his son Dale Eugene Bashore, longtime companion Mary Harty, brother Mike Bashore, and sister Carolyn Martin.

Those left to cherish Harold’s memory include his daughter Amber Baker (Rodney) of Piqua; grandchildren James Morrison and Joshua Morrison; great-grandchildren Hazel Morrison and Landyn Morrison; brothers Maurice Dale Bashore, Jr. (Gloria) of Troy, Roger Davis of WA, and John Bashore of AZ; and sisters Norma Bashore of WA and Nancy Hile (Dane) of NC.

Harold was a graduate of Troy High School and a former member of the Troy Moose Lodge and the Redmen Lodge in Troy. Harold was a handyman who enjoyed tinkering with anything. Everything was DIY to him. He worked as a machinist for the former Kimberly Clark in Troy for over 40 years.

A funeral service will be held 6:00PM Monday, January 17, 2022 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be from 5:00M-6:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
