Daphne "Dee" Frances Elliott

Daphne “Dee” Frances Elliott, age 98 of Piqua, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Brookdale Piqua. She was born on April 8, 1924 in Lincoln, NE to the late Henry and Frances (Beltz) Craft.

In addition to her parents, Dee is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Elliott, who passed away May 13, 2004; daughter, Janet Tegeler; brother, Donald Lee Thompson; and daughter-in-law, Linda Elliott.

Those left to cherish Dee’s memory include her daughter, Frances (Steven) Rogge of Piqua, OH; sons, Steven (Marsha) Elliott of Troy and Danny Elliott of Piqua, OH; son-in-law, Dan Tegeler of Raeford, NC; and 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Daphne graduated from Holy Family High School in Columbus, OH. She belonged to First Nazarene Church in Piqua. Dee was a proud wife, mother, and homemaker. Her family lovingly called her Grandma Central, her house was the place to go for all their needs. She was a secretary at a church for many years. Dee also enjoyed sewing, knitting, and reading.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Lincoln Robinson officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 10 AM-11 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
