Daniel Paul Elliott

Daniel Paul Elliott, age 73 of Piqua, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek. He was born December 7, 1949 in Dayton to the late Charles and Daphne Frances “Dee” (Craft) Elliott.

Along with his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his wife Linda Elliott, who passed in 2014, as well as sister Janet Tegler.

Those left to cherish Daniel’s memory include his son David (Trisha) Elliott of Piqua; daughter Amy Elliott of Gahanna; granddaughter Karlie; brother Steven (Marsha) Elliott of Troy; and sister Frances “Francie” (Steve) Rogge of Piqua.

Daniel was a 1968 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and attended Koinos Christian Fellowship Church in Troy. Daniel retired from GM as a laborer. After retirement, Daniel worked as a handyman. He enjoyed music and bicycling and was an avid woodworker. He also was a dedicated gardener- tomatoes were his specialty! Above all, Daniel cherished time with his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Friday, September 1, 2023 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home with Daniel’s nephew, Scott Elliott officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Rails to Trails. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
