D’Anthony T. Henry, age 32 of Xenia, formerly of Troy, passed away March 19, 2019. He was born January 9, 1987 in Dayton to Aubrey R. Henry of Madison, OH and Sandra Banks of Troy.
Along with his parents, D’Anthony is survived by his children, A’Riah Henry of Xenia and Kade King of Xenia; siblings Lance Dyer of Troy, DeVanté Banks of Bowling Green, Ashten Housman of Painesville, Alex Henry of Painesville, Taylor Henry of Painesville, and Kennedy Henry of Painesville; grandparents Maxine Locke of Troy, John Banks of Coma, MS, and Ann Chestnut of Springfield; godmother Constance Godsey; godsister Sherica Walker; special mothers Desree Coleman, Mary Newton, and Adrienne Wadsworth; special cousin Cassandra “Sani” Bates; special friends Jordan Woosley and Cody WIlson, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and good friends.
He was preceded in death by grandfather Aubrey (Karen) Henry and aunt Stephanie Hurst.
D’Anthony was a member of New Life International Church in Huber Heights and a 2005 graduate of Troy High School. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, and North Carolina Tarheels. He also had a passion for music and was involved in fantasy football. He was employed for 7 years at Hobart Bros. as a spooler. Above all, D’Anthony was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend.
A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Greg Parker officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
