Thelma Louise Wilmer, age 89 of Troy, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. She was born April 29, 1927 in Richmond, IN to the late William and Evelyn (Fleagle) Shanklin.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Donna Jo Spitzer of Louisville, KY, granddaughter Danielle Louise Spitzer, and Steve Spitzer of Troy. She was preceded in death by husband Lee M. Wilmer, son Donald Edward Newbold, two brothers, and one sister.

Interment will take place at a later date in Dayton Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
