Sharon Moton, age 67 of Troy, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Troy Care Center. She was born March 20, 1950 in Troy to the late William Moton, Sr. and Thelma (Ross) Moton.

Sharon is survived by her son Lewis France of Troy; four sisters: Katie Baker of Troy, twin sister Shannon Moton of Troy, Lillian (Fred) Hudgins of Piqua, and Virginia (Sonny) May of Troy; three brothers: William Moton, Jr. of Troy, Alvin Moton of Troy, and Freddie (Virginia) Archie of Piqua; as well as special boyfriend Willie D. Jackson.

Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by brothers James Archie, George Archie, David Archie, and Bobby Moton; and sisters Beverly Smith, Mary Harris, and Betty White.

Sharon worked previously at Walmart and Wendy’s and was a janitor for RT Industries.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Vickie Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
